This is taken at the temporary venue on the Cowgate fire site, where they've set up a bar and box office for the various C venues right next to a skate ramp - brilliant idea!

Since Tim called for greater use of canvas bags a few years back, the reaction by UK supermarkets has been truly impressive - he's got more clout than Jamie Oliver! Anyway he's now out to raise awareness of the suffering of performing animals. Hence the bear.

A massive haar descended over the city last night and it's taken till lunchtime to clear. Arthurs Seat seemed to have disappeared completely as we walked to work, and it gave a weird quality of light around the parliament.

I've been promising a few people photos of our new flat, but it's still mostly under a mountain of cardboard remains - the leftovers of our recent flat-packing adventures.
So here are some pictures of my new route to and from work instead. It's about twenty-five minutes, and about ten of them are dominated by the marvelous Holyrood Park.
Of course, I could live in London...
